• To provide real-time fishing conditions, weather forecasts, and water level data for your selected locations.
• To save and display your catch logs and favorite water bodies.
• To authenticate your account and enable app features.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, tracking across other apps, or selling to third parties.

3. Third-Party Data Sources

The app fetches publicly available data from:

• National Weather Service (NWS/NOAA) — weather forecasts and conditions
• U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) — water levels, flow rates, and water temperature
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass API — boat ramp and storm shelter locations

These services receive your general location (latitude/longitude) to return relevant data. They are governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Catch logs and saved waters are associated with your authenticated account.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual catch logs and saved waters at any time within the app.

6. Your Rights

• You can view, edit, or delete your catch logs and saved waters at any time.
• You can revoke location permissions through your device settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is rated for all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
